Adverbs of Frequency - I

Here are some examples with using adverbs of frequency, along with corresponding questions. Notice that in the question format, I've substituted an appropriate pronoun:

John always studies at night.
-- Does he always study at night?

Mary usually studies at night.
-- Does she usually study at night?

Bob often studies at night.
-- Does he often study at night?

Bill sometimes studies at night.
-- Does he sometimes study at night?

Alice seldom studies at night.
-- Does she sometimes study at night?

Tom never studies at night.
-- Does he never study at night?

John and Mary usually study at night.
-- Do they usually study at night?


With the following sentences, put the adverb of frequency in the correct place. Then, substitute an appropriate pronoun and form a corresponding question.

1. John drinks coffee. (sometimes)

2. He drinks tea. (seldom)

3. Mr. Allen drinks coffee. (usually)

4. Mrs. Allen drinks coffee. (seldom)

5. She drinks tea. (usually)

6. Mr. Miller has coffee at 10 a.m. (always)

7. Mrs. Miller has coffee at 10 a.m. (sometimes)

8. Mrs. Miller drinks milk in the morning. (seldom)

9. She has coffee in the morning. (usually)

10. Mr. and Mrs. Miller eat in a restaurant. (sometimes)

11. John eats in restaurants. (always)

12. Mary eats in a restaurant. (seldom)

13. She eats at home. (usually)

14. Mr. and Mrs. Allen eat in a restaurant. (usually)
